Laugavegur Trek

Laugavegur Trail is Iceland’s most famous multi-day backpacking route, renowned for surreal landscapes that change dramatically every few miles. It connects the geothermal oasis of Landmannalaugar to the forested valley of Þórsmörk.

The landscape highlights the colorful rhyolite mountains, multiple cold glacial-river crossings, volcanic deserts, and miles of black ash juxtaposed against vibrant green moss.
